Are Women Given More Lust Than Men? If So, Why?

Question: Is this tale proven from reliable hadith wherein the woman in relation to the man has been given 9 more types of lust?

If so, Islamic law permits up to four wives to be married, apart from having female slaves. So how can a husband fulfil the desire of four wives and slaves despite being part of the lust? What is the real wisdom in this? Please give a detailed answer so that we can answer the enemies of Islam regarding this lust issue. Much wisdom has been repeated in the ruling of four wives, but this question only seeks an answer in relation to lust.

Questioner: Muhammad Isma’il Saheb from Mahmudabad in India

Answer:

The woman does not only have 9 parts but rather more than 100 parts.

ولٰکن اﷲ القی علیھن الحیاء
But Allah bestowed them with shyness.[1]

If a man sees the work of a smart person from among and cannot fathom it, he will say, “He is very smart. He did it with wisdom.” How is it then that doubts arise in the works of the Almighty Lord, the All-Wise and the All-Aware, for the simple wisdom herein is that in the act of sex with respect to the man it is only for pleasure, while the woman has to face hundreds of difficulties – she carries it in her womb for nine months making walking, moving, standing, sitting difficult. Then at the time of giving birth she comes face to face with death from every shock, thereafter she becomes sleepless due to the different pains after birth, so it is stated:

حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُۥ كُرْهًۭا وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًۭا ۖ وَحَمْلُهُۥ وَفِصَـٰلُهُۥ ثَلَـٰثُونَ شَهْرًا
“His mother bore him with hardship, and delivered him with hardship; and carrying him and weaning him is for thirty months.” [46:15]

So with every birth of the child, the woman is imprisoned in difficulties for at least three years. If not even a degree of consideration to this, then there will never be upbringings again. The whole world order will perish. If a mouse child is born even once in a man’s stomach, he will then regret it all his life. This is the wisdom behind it that makes her forget all her pain. And Allah knows best.
