Is It Allowed To Associate With False Sects Of Islam To Protect Islamic Rights?
Question: What is the verdict of the Islamic scholars and the jurist of Islamic law on the issue that a Muslim organisation called the Baroda Raj Conference has been set up within the state of Baroda for the rights and protection of Islam. This association is not for interfering in religious affairs, it is only for the protection of the rights of Muslims in front of the Hindu Rajas, India and the public, so it can include the Islamic confession of faith [kalma-go] of every sect without any restrictions. Is it permissible for Sunni Hanafi Muslims to participate in this association? State and be rewarded.

Answer: Participation in this conference is necessary for the protection of the rights of ahl-i Sunnat against the false sects and in the protection of the rights of Islam against the foes of Islam. With false sects, it is unlawful and haram to have a meeting that is based on love and sympathy, and that which is unnecessary and needless and expedient according to Islamic law [shariah], nor that which is for preaching. And Allah Almighty knows best.
